Wheel stud kit

I got the 2.25" long studs. I figure that if they are to long I'll cut them to the length I need.

Got the front one's installed, the other 8 are on back order. Cut them down to 1.9" overall length.

why studs at all?

why use studs at all? when you can use the wheel bolts from a 230E,240D,280E,300D,&300TD Mercedes-Benz(wheel base code:123). use the wheel bolts, from the base wheels that use full hubcaps, for your basic steel wheels(stock & 323) for your festy. use the alloy bolts for your wheels that require spacers or aftermarket wheels. plus DO NOT FORGET TO UPGRADE YOUR LUG WRENCH TO 17MM instead of the crappy 14MM stock wrench.

Seems to me that it is easier to strip the threads on the bolt

Plus I would rather replace a damaged stud than a front hub or rear drum

Yeah studs to me are a very good/nice change instead of the bolts, much easier to replace if something gets messed up plus it's much easier to put the wheels back on w/studs. -Kyle

Try to install the front wheels after the aspire swap. It sucks. Now you have a hub and a rotor that rotates, the festiva rotors are bolted to the hubs. Then align them with the wheel and screw in the stud bolt. Studs are the way to go.

Just wanted to give an update... I picked my studs up today... I ordered them at A&A Auto yesterday, they were overnited and I got them for $24 and change.

They are Topline brand part #C948XXl4 (12MM x 1.5) and 2" long. With my lug nuts that I got with my wheels, they should fit fine and tighten up perfectly.

I'll give an update tomorrow once I get them installed.

Nope, I got 2 aspire setups and neither had the screws that hold the rotors on. Shouldn't really need them anyways.

The studs fit perfectly with my sporty lug nuts, I didn't take pictures of the install or anything, but I'll get some a bit later.

Well damn. I have the opposite issue. I can't get one of the damn screws with a hand screwdriver and a bunch of liberal hosing down with PB Blaster (and I hit it with a hammer a lot as well). Ened up getting one of those impact tools to get it off. Commie pinko screw.

my car actually came with adapters on it that must have been made at a machine shop. they're cylindrical and are held on by the lug bolts, with studs coming out of them in the 4x100 pattern. right now im using 14 civic del sol rims.

i don't have an advance auto here in California. and there on line web page is a piece of sh#%!! and any help me find them online without them being from prestige
