The first thing I do when I get my festy will be the aspire swap. Naturally, I would want an aspire spare tire for this. Well, today I was at a garage sale and saw a spare tire that looked like that of an aspire or an escort. It is in mint condition, never used, and I got it for $3.00. Does anybody have a photo of an aspire spare so I can compare? I'm betting its right...

The problem with the Aspire spare is that it is slightly higher than the floor. The stock Festiva spare tire cover doesn't fit properly. I have noticed that the Pride has a bump for the spare. I have not found the part number for the cover. -

If it's for a Tempo, go ahead and sell it. Tempos (and Topaz) have a 4x108mm bolt pattern.Festiva: Because even my dog can build a Honda.

Just measure the bolt pattern on the spare. Personally I would suggest getting a regular Aspire steelie and putting a low-profile tire on it, like a 175/60x13, so it will fit in the wheel well. You don't want a donut on a road trip.
