The first thing I do when I get my festy will be the aspire swap. Naturally, I would want an aspire spare tire for this. Well, today I was at a garage sale and saw a spare tire that looked like that of an aspire or an escort. It is in mint condition, never used, and I got it for $3.00. Does anybody have a photo of an aspire spare so I can compare? I'm betting its right...

Aspire spare tire?

I can take a picture of it tomorrow unless someone already has one to show.
The problem with the Aspire spare is that it is slightly higher than the floor. The stock Festiva spare tire cover doesn't fit properly. I have noticed that the Pride has a bump for the spare. I have not found the part number for the cover.

Thanks. I think mine is an escort or a tempo. Should still fit, though. If not, I can sell it for $20 or so. Its practically new. Anybody have pics of a festy spare just to double-check?Last edited by Basement_Modder; 05-06-2011, 11:10 AM.1990 White L-Plus 5-speed rust-machine

If it's for a Tempo, go ahead and sell it. Tempos (and Topaz) have a 4x108mm bolt pattern.Festiva: Because even my dog can build a Honda.

Just measure the bolt pattern on the spare. Personally I would suggest getting a regular Aspire steelie and putting a low-profile tire on it, like a 175/60x13, so it will fit in the wheel well. You don't want a donut on a road trip.
