    Discuss improvements to your Festiva or Aspire in the handling, braking, wheels and tires areas.

      Can't comment on your situation but Kia did retain the asinine business of 21 different pre-load bearing spacers on their own cars after they parted from Ford/Mazda, so maybe the advice you're getting is good. Should this be the case (for Aspire (100 mm wheel stud center) swappers) please let the rest of us know. And good luck!

        ^ This is why you don't ever want to mix up or (God forbid) lose the spacers when you do your hubs.

        As for substituting Rio hubs for Aspire ones, I don't know if the spacers will work for the Aspire/Rio combo.

          the knuckle casting determines the spacer used, not the hub itself. so if you use quality replacement bearings, i see no reason why the hubs can't interchange.
          Trees aren't kind to me...

          currently: 2 88Ls (Scrappy and Jersey), 88LX, 90L(Pepe), 91L, 91GL (Skippy) 93 GL Sport (the Mighty Favakk), 94 (Bruce) & 95 Aspire SEs, 97 Aspire (The Joker),
          94 Justy 4WD, 87 Fiero GT, plus 2 parts cars. That's my fleet.

            Thanks for assistance. It is next to impossible to search the forums from a cell phone. It does appear they will swap. I'll post if they don't.
