  • please help !!!

So I'm in need of assistance. Let me explain . I've done aspire brake and suspension swap , with uncut springs.

The passenger front wheel bearings keep blowing. I have done the bearing spacer thing, it is correct.

Anyone else done this swap? any ideas?
    Slainte!

What type of wheels are you running? Aspire rims or aftermarket?

how do you know the bearing spacer is correct? how tight are you torquing the axle nut?

how many bearing sets have you gone through, what brand, and did you mic the hub to make sure it wasn't damaged before replacing the bearings ?(a bad hub can cause damaged bearings even if everything else is in spec.

4th set of bearings, national is the brand, new hubs, as of last replacement about a week ago.

is anyone else running aspire hubs with uncut aspire springs ?

            are national bearings that bad?

alignment is perfect and in spec as well.

Get a junkyard hub and rebuild yours when you find out what the problem is.

Does sound like there is a problem. Shouldnt be going thru that many bearings, period.
I only use Timken bearings. The Nationals are made in china.

Some Timken bearings are too, it's all about quality control.
Whether or not our bearings are made there, I do not know.

it's got to be a spacer issue (reguardless of what the spacer tool tells you). sounds like the spacer is too small causing the rollers to crush once everything is installed.

If we compared rotating inch pounds of torque I bet yours is too high.

I found this out the hard way: if the races spin in your knuckle, it can cause that knuckle to be useless, so no matter what you change after that, it'll happen again. I know you're really thorough, but I thought I'd mention it anyway.

disassemble everything you install..clean it and take a photo on the parts and post it so that everyone could determine where the culprit is..

                            I'll try to get pics.

The inner seal seems to keep blowing, and the inner(trans side) bearing keeps going right with it. so, I think it have to do with the suspension. When, it compresses the drive pushes on the hub, pushing the the seal and bearing off the hub. This is just a theory. I'm going to look at it more tomorrow.

I also haven't found anyone else on here that runs UNCUT aspire spring(or relative equivalent) and aspire hub/brakes. Of course, I really don't follow the community as well as I should, so it doesn't mean someone isn't out there.

Thanks for the help so far.
