Been meaning to do a write up about this. I have used Miata boosters/master cylinders from 89-97 ( other years may work too) from non abs cars. I block off one of the front brake outlets on the front of the m/c. The thing on the side is a banjo fitting for the rear brake line. I also make a 3/4" longer clevis (part that mounts to the pedal) to allow full pedal height adjustment like stock. I offer good used Miata m/c and booster assemblies with the proper parts to bolt on to a festiva for 150.00+ shipping. The master cylinders are all disassembled and inspected by me personally to ensure they are in great condition. I sell a Miata master/booster mounting kit for 40+ shipping if you want to provide the Miata parts.

I'm looking for a pretty stiff pedal since the cars main purpose will be auto-crossing. I'm going to build it with the stock booster first and if that isn't enough then I'll go to the Aspire but I doubt that I'll need more than that.
Sounds like it would be great for more a daily driver build though.

Well since the festiva gods work in odd ways there is now an Asprie at the JY. However, we got about three inches of snow last night, it was 20 degrees today and I got a late start today so I only had about and hour in the yard. I did manage to pull the trailing arm with 2 almost new 175/70r13 capitol sport tires and rims.
Now everyone needs to hope with me that the front spindles are still there when I go back next week.

Early Kia Rio wheels look exactly like Aspire steelies, but I'm not sure if they're still 4.5" wide or if they came in 5" wide. So if you can't find more Aspire steelies keep an eye out for Rios.

CAMBER
I noticed you didnt mention camber.Are you allowed to mod this in your class? Camber bolts are super cheap & will allow you to really carve those cones.Get the bolts & drill the knuckle before you mount up the Apire knuckle.Then you wont have to mess with it later. Show us pics of your ride when you get time!Some people like to read fiction,I prefer to read repair manuals. Weird I know-

Yeah I've been looking for Rio rims already.
As far as the camber goes to be class legal I still have to be within the factory specs but any adjustable items are allowed. So I think about -1.5 degrees is normal max form the factory. I'm going to try to get away with a little more then that because they normally don't care to much at just the local events. The coilovers I was looking at are pictured with a slotted top hole which would probably give me enough adjustment if they actually come that way. If not then I'll probably go with camber bolts unless I can still afford camber caster plates.
