So I got the suspension and every thing but studs does any one have some double side studs m12 x 1.5 I need 8.

Ok just wondering so you have to cut the springs on a rio or can you just install?

I believe that you need to cut about 1.5 coils to level the car. I cut 1.75 off mine then decided to go with 10" coilovers.

I used my festy springs and cut.... i wanna say 1.5 coil in front and 2 in back, the kia rio springs are a stiffer spring so if you cut it, it will be even stiffer... thats why i went with the festy and cut it to stiffen it.... and i am more then pleased, sits perfect height and has a nice firm ride but not a kidney killer.

I'm using KYB's on all corners with Rio's on the front with Rio top mounts. All have 10" coilovers, assembly based on Advancedymamics thread.

What sucks is when you have one installed then realize that . at least i didn't do both .

Ok got the springs off and cut how do you get them back on. I can't get them on. What is a special tool or technique?

A spring compressor should have been used !
I just wanna know how you got them off ?

So I cut them to 12".

You are lucky you didn't hurt yourself! They push at about 200lbs for every inch they were compressed.
