Jeez, and here I thought all Ford Aspires (or whatever they call Ford/Kia/Mazda 'bubble cars' outside of n. America) came from the factory with ventilated rotors! I do see though that you had to change calipers too in order to accommodate the extra thickness. Good for you and enjoy your new and better brakes.
I'll bet that installation of a bigger engine is going to be your next 'stop'!

Omer has the Mazda 121. You can think of it as Mazda's version of the "second gen Festiva" or the "Aspire counterpart." Also known as the Bubble car.

Here is an old Top Gear revue:

Chris Goffey tests the Mazda 121, A new compact city car from Mazda. Taken from season 14 episode 7.

In the first Youtube video, he mentions a four-speed auto on the 121s in the UK. Pity we got a three-speed. I notice that it's carbed, too, FWIW.

Wow 121's came with solid rotors, and they look bigger than the Festy's.

                  Hi,

Thank you for your comments. Mazda 121 db has 2 type rotors. Auto car has ventileted. Manual car has solid disc. All 121 db has 4 speed auto or 5 speed man. All 121 db have single point injection with b3 engine and 16v head. It is looks big but is very light 790kg.

Wow, that's very different from what we got in the US. I'm surprised they didn't send us the 4spd auto seeing as there's more highway driving in the US.
