PLEASE help!?! coilover/suspension question
so today i went to pick up my new tires. 14x6" konig vipers (4x4.5), with 175/65 rubber. wheels fit nicely. however, the tires, not so much. the problem was clearing the rear spring perch.
so the question
i have recently searched the heck out of this forum trying to find a thread that I've commented on before, that involved using the spring seats of a coilover set from ebay for a civic, and had a link to a site where you could buy a variety of springs in 2.5" diameter. i'm too cheap to do the "advanced suspension mods". i've got brand new gabriels on all four corners, and was looking to grab some of those cheap civic spring seats, toss those springs, and grab some springs that are (just a tad) stiffer in the rear. if someone could find that thread and link me, that would help a lot. if not, if someone could link me to a site i could get the springs from, i can get the seats and all for them. i'm just looking for a 2.5" spring that will fit those civic perches, that are a tad stiffer in the front, and a wee bit more stiffer in the rear.
i know i know, search button. i've used it. all i come up with is the advanced mods, and a jumbled mess of sorts.
if it's any help, i reordered my original wheel set up of 14x6" american racing Estrella with +35 offset (that i had previously sold on here) with 185/55/14 rubber. that set up fit my stock suspension perfectly, with no mods at all. however, they only come in summer tires, so i'll have to have the civic spring perch set up, or something similar to be able to clear winter tires while in canada (i'm definitely not trying to ride on snow and ice with a summer set up)
any help would be much appreciated dudes!
