  • Festiva to Aspire Brake Swap - Brake Lines

I searched before I posted this, all apologies if this is in 2999 other posts that I just happened to miss.

So, the "Aspire Brake EZ how to" suggests that you remove the Aspire rubber portion of the fluid brake lines - why can the festiva's not be used? I understand the brake CABLE exchange and everything, but I do not understand why you would NEED the aspire brake lines when removing it from the aspire...?

    Thank you.

Shooting from the hip id say because when they are attached to caliper they are free anyways and they are going to be newer.

I agree with above. When I pull Aspire brakes I use tin snips to cut the metal brake lines at the body. Less tools (brake line wrenches) to carry.
