  • why do both front and rear aspire brakes?...

Here's why: first off, its not practical to have two different bolt patterns, even if you have dual-drilled wheels like I do. You would still need to keep two spare tires (or a dual-drilled spare). There is also an extra stabilizer bar on the aspire rear beam that really stiffens things up. But here is the real reason... I keep reading "I just want to swap the front because there isn't really that much difference between the festiva rears and the aspire rears"... here's the difference...

Aspire rears are much much bigger. The increase of size in the rear is actually greater than the increase in size in th front.
    No festiva for me ATM...

 I did not think they where that different.

Thanks go out to you for taking the time on that pic.

Maybe it should be added to the aspire swap sticky section?

and has been widely regarded as a bad move.

Not to mention you get a nice parking brake that becomes a joy to use.

And a little extra weight to hold down the back end!
