hi my State inspection runs out at the end of oct.. and i have everything i need for the aspire swap but the wheels studs and lug nuts. i am going with the miata wheels with the 195/45/14's. so i read somewhere that there was a kit on ebay for the studs. it was intended for old bmw or something but i thought they might work... will they or is there a cheaper faster way i can get the studs and nuts? also if any one has any ideas what i should pay for a set of maita alloys w/out tires?? thanks

Did you do the aspire swap? The miata wheels have the 4 x 100 pattern. Just wanted to bring that up.
Do a search. There are a few posts on the subject. I think I spent about $40 on the complete set. Haven't come across any cheaper way to go.

I guess I should fully read posts before answering them. You do say your doing the aspire swap, soory didn't catch that.
Price, I paid $175 for my 1st set with nice tires that ended up being too big. The 2nd set I picked up for $60 for just the rims, no tires.

and get the lug nuts with a 13/16" hex. I bought a set with a 17mm hex but I couldn't find a lug wrench in the junkyard to fit that size. The 2nd set I bought was 13/16 hex.

Awhile ago, I briefly considered some Mini Cooper (BMW) wheels. Be sure to check offset and centerbore sizing. You may need hubcentric rings.

With any wheels of 6 inches wide or more, I'd go with at least 38mm offset. Anything more than that may not clear the suspension pieces.
Just a guess.
