The runnout tolerance on most steel wheels (even the "good" ones like basset) is .030" or greater. Too much for our cars. Too bad b/c I think they could look good too.

If you call and ask them maybe they can hand pick some wheels with a lower TIR.

One problem with 14x7s is the lack of good tire sizes available for them. the 165 55 14s fit nicely on 6" wheels which are readily available. A 14x7 with a 185 50 would probably be a nice fit, but such sizes aren't readily available.

a 13x7 +25mm will take a 185 60 13, with small body coilovers and some negative camber, and just barely fit inside a slightly rolled/pulled stock wheel well.

The out of round issue doesn't show up on heavier cars so the Chevelle probably wasn't affected by it. As light as a Festiva is it's very apparent when a wheel or tire is out of round.

I've had two sets of 15's with 165/50's and the ride is pretty bad, and there's not much sidewall so it's easier to bend the rim. Steel rims will bend easier than aluminum rims, something to keep in mind if you're going with 15's and short sidewalls. The circle track hoops I bought were thinner and had less of a rolled outer edge so they'd be even weaker than OEM steel wheels. I wouldn't be willing to try circle track rims with short sidewalls. I've already bent an OEM steel Escort/Tempo wheel running shorter 155/55-14" tires... right after having them straightened due to wheel shake.

                You don't need a spacer for +38.

+13, on the other hand, would be very close to the fender, if not hitting. I also would not recommend an adapter spacer. If you want 4x100 wheels, I would switch to Aspire brakes.

I believe it's 01-05, but there are a lot of small details. It's outlined pretty well around the forums if you search around.
I don't know if the rears are usable or not.
