My wheels are 14" aluminum wheels that came stock on a 1986 Toyota Corolla. I have 185/65R14 tires on it right now that rub whenever I hit a dip in the road. Are these too big? What is the ideal size tire for 14" wheels?

Did Festiva's really originally come with 165/75R12s? When I first got my car it had 155R12s. I took it to Fleet Farm and they said that they were only allowed to put on what originally came on the car, so they sold me 145R12s.
So I guess my question is what size original tire has the same diameter as the 195/45R14s?5 Festys and counting!!

Get the 195/45/14's. Don't waste time or money on any other size. You'll need a 5.5" rim or wider. the 185/65/14's are too big. I had the same problem.

Does anybody have a picture of their car with 195/45R14s or 195/55R14s? Preferably not lowered because mine isn't. Thanks5 Festys and counting!!

Recheck your speed. There's a 7.09% difference between the stock tires and 185/60/14's.

i've tested the 185/60/14 combo against radar and rolling road and found this to make all the numbers match to less than 1%.Trees aren't kind to me...
