  • Aspier brake booster & master cylinder?

Well from just sitting in the garage doing nothing my master cylinder decided to start leaking. Aswell, my brake booster is a rusty lump. While im at it im going to replace both. I think i have read that the aspire master cylinder bolts up and is better than the stock one. Is this correct? What about the brake booster? Will it bolt up too?

You will have to move the line at the front of the master.stock screws in from the side.Aspire screws in from the top.
Booster should bolt up with no problem if same diameter.

Yes they both bolt up. Diameter does not matter. I have the Aspire Manual Booster and MC in my car... -Kyle

With the Aspire stuff the pedal feel is much better, less pedal effort creates more stopping power. Worthwhile mod... -Kyle

EDIT: I have the Aspire AUTO booster and MC in my car (It is bigger still)

I used the aspire booster with the festiva master just changed the pushrod length adjusted it to the aspire spec, then bolted right in w/ no line changes. Brake pedal feels like an old buick.
                  it runs so sweet

I have the Aspire booster and master cylinder as well. They seem to work well. I did custom brake lines at the time because mine were coroded.

A tubing bender is what I used to do both of my front lines. I figured since I was in there, I might as well replace the line with brand new. I went to Advance auto parts and picked up a straight section of brake line, got a tubing bender and custom bent my lines. It worked like a charm.
