      Ive got a 1990 xl festiva, Do the civic coilovers fit with no modifications?? Im looking at buying a second hand set out of a 1993 Civic. cheers.

            I had the ebay coilovers on stiva gr-2's and thats how it was. Way too stiff and any 'performance' bolt-on festiva strut will not have enough damping. I am using stock chopped springs/struts and am looking for a stiffer solution. probably 323/qa1 up front and vw/qa1 out back.

              if it is true that early model 323 struts bolt up, i would assume this would be a good compromise between performance and ride quality. Stiffer springs able to be used because of the valving for the heavier car. This is obviously if coilovers are not your 1st option
