  • I tried nissan sentra rims. They gave me a shimy shake. Help

I tried some rims I found in a junk yard. They were on the 4 hole list. They are 84 nissan sentra steel rims. When the guy at the tire shop put them on he said they weren't "hub centric" and he couldn't get them on straight. I test drove it and I'm getting a shimmy in the front. He rebalanced and it didn't fix it. Any thoughts

You can get hub centric fillers to make them straighten up correctly.

We tried putting my 15's on my friends 93 Sentra and they didn't fit.

      Who sell hub centric fillers?

Who sells the hub centric fillers? Or would I be better off trying some other rims?
      Thank

they are called hubcentric rings. you need to know the bore of the rim and the diameter of your hub on your festiva in order to get the right ones.

you can pick them up on ebay or probably any autoparts store...

          Thanks

Thanks, I'll try to find the sizes. And look for the rings.

I have sentra 13in rims and no rings, could one of yours be bent? I get some vibes at around 50 but nothing to bad.

Mine starts at about 50 also, but it get fairly severe by 60. I tried switching the front and rear to see if it might be one of the front rims being bent, no difference. Does any one have the bore of a 91 festiva hub and a 84 nissan sentra rim?

I had steel hubcentric rings made for my 13 X 5.5" VW alloys to fit the Aspire brake/hub conversion. Cost me over $115!

if you have a caliper, you should be able to measure the bore on the festiva hub and the rim.
