A little performance report. Every since Ive been driving a festiva ( its been awhile now ) when ever I get on the highway ( I-29 ) headed to work I alway go over the Hwy to get on the entrance ramp then I'll hit the entrance ramp fairly hard and try to accelerate to match speed with the traffic flow. Ive always had to nail the stock festiva to get up to speed as I have to enter the hwy going uphill. There is a 70 MPH speed limit sign about 150 yards pass the point where I enter the hwy. I always make a point to try and get up to 70 MPH by the time I get to that sign. The stock festiva will do it but you have to rev it to a little over 4000 in each gear. Today in the B6 car I reved to about the normal 4000 in each gear and I was going almost 85 by the time I passed the sign. No way the stock festiva will do that. I had the air conditioning on at the time too. Also Ive noticed that the head wind and uphill drags are gone and its possible to accelerate and pass someone. I meant to check gas mileage at my last fill up but even if its five miles per gallon less its well worth it. My guess is the mileage isnt hurting that much. The b6 should have at least been an option on these cars.Last edited by freshtiva; 05-22-2009, 12:19 AM.sigpic

With all the name brand performance parts you decided not to buy for your Honda, you should have money left over to invest in a dictionary!

My replacement grill arrived today, couldnt be happier. It was much better than I was expecting, like new. Still needing a hood. Heard that the hatch I was going to get was destroyed so Ill have to live with a dent or two in my current hatch until another one can be found.
The flames from the engine fire melted the corner of the old grill
