Update:
3267 miles later frankenstiva got its first oil change today. I put 3 1/2 quart in during the engine swap and drained over three quarts out today. I have added none since the build. Only three problems till now. One was my fault. Installed a plastic inline fuel filter on the car instead of the metal cannistered one. It blew out on me coming home once, put an original type back on. The second problem was that it wore out the first alt belt in about 1000 miles. Changed out the 323 water pump pulley for the festiva one and corrected that problem. Lastly I had to replace an O ring on the A/C and recharge the system. Other than that its been a joy to drive.

It will be b BP swap with the G25MR tranny. It been done but Ill do it my own way. Asprire swap (rebuilt and laying of the floor now) Interior make over and plenty of rare options of course. Thinking about using one of the festys I already own as I cant find any with good bodies anymore. Redford is the likely canidate.

Wow ! Just noticed this thread has exceeded 10,000 views since March. Hope it has helped keep some festivas on the road. Look for the sequel this spring.

^ Thank you Charlie !! It turned out even better than I expected. Its a great hwy cruiser now and still gets 40 MPG. Was lucky to find a good low mileage B6.
