Sending you a PM now...Originally posted by KR3AM View PostHey there lane...
I just got me sum of the daisy on my kar...was wonderin how u painted yurs? Interested in painting mine for $$$ or trade yurs for mine n some $ for you to do the purple....let me kno

Haha, I'm diggin the flat black look of the hood now. The only reason I didn't paint the hood green too is because I went in on the group buy of fiberglass/carbon fiber hoods from FestivaWes, and I'll paint that one green.Originally posted by DriverOne View PostCar looks awesome. Maybe this sounds ricer or somethin', but I saw some carbon-fiber look automotive tape that maybe you could put on your hood and fool people. Thought about doin' it with mine, but if time is money, I'm flat broke.

Just for you CHills....Couple of quick pics to show off that nice new windshield!Originally posted by CHills View PostLet's see the new Shield!

On a side note, I'm thinking of painting the bronze part of my wheels purple....think it will make them pop a little more, but mainly because the Hulk had purple pants!

Hey, I saw a Toyota ECHO with a set of stock sideskirts... Looked plastic. Definitely trimmable, but I dunno the wheelbase in comparison with the Festiva. Maybe check the JY for one of those. Looked like the only thing on the car that made it anything more than a kiddie-drawn ride.

The wheels are off early mazda miatas....most people refer to them as the "daisy" wheels. Don't need spacers to fit them, but you do need the aspire swap since the bolt pattern is 4x100. Tires are 185/60r14 I believe, and I do rub every now and then in the back over large bumps. I cut two coils outta all the springs. I've got brand new kyb shocks and FMS springs to go on it, but I just wanted to try cutting the springs before I put all that on.Originally posted by FestiHauler View PostCar looks amazing!! Just a few questions, maybe dumb but I don't have a lot of experience with the festiva. 1. What are the wheels on your car and what size tires do you have on them? 2. Did you require any spacers to get them to fit? 3. How much did you cut your springs and do you have any rubbing issues? Thanks for any answers you can give. Again the car looks AWESOME and I can only hope mine will look that good some day.

Sorry for the French off topic

Like Maxtiva said, I haven't been here for a while...The reason, simply put, is:

back to school (taking a carpenter's class)+ bodywork on the ol' Festy (last winter left his marks, or should I say, holes...) = busy schedule!!!

Thanks a lot! Some people don't appreciate the work we put into these little cars, they just don't know how fun they are.Originally posted by Pocket_Rocket View PostMan that car turned out great!!! I haven't been on this site a lot lately, and looks like I missed a lot. I just read this whole thread after I saw your new signature pic ( I thought you got a new Festy and wanted to read about it) and man, I couldn't believe how far it has come! You've got skills man!

I haven't looked into the swift gti's, but I'll keep that in mind now!Originally posted by Pocket_Rocket View PostAnd about side skirts, have you checked those from '89-'94 Swift GTi's? That would look good IMO, although it would require a lot of modification...
