Yeah, my exhaust was cut on that car for some reason already, so it was going to need to be welded one way or another. I'm on the hunt for some sideskirts....I found some I wanted but they were broken, so my hunt continues. I wish I had more time to work on it!

As of now I plan on filling the hatch recess. I like how clean it looks that way. Cam Waugh's rear end (festiva that is) is my inspirationOriginally posted by MONSOON View PostAre you going to fill the license plate recess in the hatch or the bumper?Last edited by lanemeyer14; 04-16-2009, 10:56 PM.

Yeah, pressure washing it made a world of difference for just a few bucks change.Originally posted by garylau View PostWell you just helped me decide to pull and pressure wash my carpet. I didn't know they could get that clean! Your thread gives me a little hope. I'm starting with a mess of a car, too. Although your body is in much better shape than mine.

Not much to update this time. Got the rear bumper completely mounted....I THINK it's done anyway. Here are some pics of the bumper from the rear to show all the mounting points...

I'd like to have a way to mount the upper part of the bumper, but can't think of anything as of yet. I was able to use the festy mounts by bending them to fit, and I made four more plastic mounts/extensions(only two are shown. The other two are used immediately to the left and right of the tag area). It's on there pretty good, so hopefully it won't fly off when I finally get to drive it. Here is the only gap the bumper has under the hatch...

It really isn't that bad unless you know what you're looking for.
I also trimmed up the wheel arch a little more...

My mom fell and broke her shoulder yesterday, so I'm off work again today, and may sneak out to the garage for a little bit to work on the front bumper.

Been doing all the cutting with a regular little dremel and cutting wheelOriginally posted by BUSTIVA View PostWhat are you using to cut out the wheel arches?

Looking at that last pic it's obvious I still need to do some more cutting on the bumper to round out that wheel arch!
