I'm using the festy beams. Not much to take a pic of yet since it's not mounted. Still not sure how I'll do that. When I get it buttoned up I'll take more pics

Did you keep the festiva bumper beams or use the donor beam ? How about a behind the bumper shot so I can see how you are doing it ?

Easter is one of the only holidays I get off work, so after lunch with the family I tackled the rear bumper. I got it trimmed up to fit, just need to mount it now. The only problem I'm going to have is the fact that the exhaust will need to be routed to come out on the driver's side. Thinking about a crx type exhaust, but that will come after I get my swap done. Any advice you guys have on exhaust setups would be great. I've also got two spots for a tag now, so I may shave the hatch....then I'll have a similar set up to Cam Waugh's festiva. Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks! If only I had the skill/knowledge for a turbo set up!Originally posted by BUSTIVA View PostWow I really like that bumper! That would be awesome for a huge front mount.
Thanks Fresh! Glad to get that festy blood running. Now I just need to get working on my engine like you!Originally posted by freshtiva View PostThat frt bumper looks cool ! Looks like it fits good too. I love the build thread, everything looks great so far. It gets my festiva blood running.
Keep it up and keep the pics coming. Knowing others are building festiva keeps me motivated !!
Yeah, the carpet was a total mess....it seriously had a mini swamp in the floorboard. I took the carpet out, vacuumed it, then scrubbed it with a combination of simple green, oxy-clean and water. After that it was looking ok, but I could tell there was still a lot of underlying dirt. So I took it to the car wash and pressure washed the heck out of it. I swear old kool-aid must have ran out of it for at least the first five minutes of spraying it. I'm really happy with it now.Originally posted by ruppenduro View Postwhat did you use to clean your carpet? looks spotless!Last edited by lanemeyer14; 04-08-2009, 11:38 AM.

Thanks! Pocket Rocket got it right off the bat....Isuzu StylusOriginally posted by Sparky View PostThat looks way unique!! Nice work!!
What kind of car did you snag that from?
Yeah, I can't remember ever seeing one before. I had no idea what it was when I walked up to it, but I knew I liked the front bumperOriginally posted by Pocket_Rocket View PostYeah, that's because I was a hardcore Isuzu fan some time ago, even if logic prevented me to buy one...I even was an active member of Isuzuperformance.com; so with a lineup of 6 vehicles (not counting its GM counterparts) it's pretty easy to remember them. Them being pretty different from anything else on the road also helps!!!
Thanks! Took a good bit of work, and needs more work stillOriginally posted by 91blufestiva View PostLooks really good!

Yeah, you could probably fit an intercooler in there and make it look nicer than a hacked up festy bumper.
