Everything is now moved to one (messy) location. Hopefully I will get to work on the car a little bit this weekend.

When we were pushing the car on to the tow dolly my neighbor, who looks like he spends 4 hours a day at the gym, came out and pushed the car so hard that it went up into the spots in the dolly and then the whole trailer moved and put a nice ding in my friends f-150. :-(
Other than that it went well.

I have a dying urge to do some work. I've been carless for over a year (last car was a Miata btw lol). Let us know when you have some time on a weekend or something. I bet 4 or 5 of us can get a lot done in one day.

Well after some motivation for some of the Florida guys, I am trying to get things going (Again)

I went out and bought a brand new civic radiator from Discount Auto......here's my question:

Why do you need to civic radiator? I did a little side by side comparison and they seem to be the exact same size? Height, length, and WIDTH all seem to be the same as the Festiva radiator i pulled from the Junkyard?

So either, the festiva in the junkyard was running the radiator from a 92-95 civic......i bought the wrong radiator (which is very possible)......or there is not as big of a difference as i thought there would be......

Thanks guys.......and all those that are near by and interested in lending a hand, I think that I have everything I need except for the plumbing for the radiator and intercooler. Let me know if you have some time.........

Hi all i am in the same situation as you still slow but im a bit further behind than you are. I have the b6t but i am still in the process of cleaning and replacing pieces in the engine. What are some things i should look for when doing this and what are some needs when it comes to finishing the swap of engines so i can get a head start on buying the pieces?

Thanks man.....I will give you a call as soon as I get an ok from the wife. Sorry to hear that you are still not feeling well.

As far as the radiator things goes.....I am even more confused now. Not only are the dimensions the same.....the festiva radiator has more vertical rows for cooling than the civic radiator? What gives.....I don't get how the civic radiator will cool any better if it is the same size with less rows to flow through? Anyone have any ideas?

I used a similar civic radiator on a 1.8 honda motor with a turbo and the car never got hot.....so I am pretty sure that this should work.....just don't get why I need it? Thanks

That's weird, did you start with an automatic car? The auto Festiva radiator is thicker than the manual one. Maybe the civic radiator swap is specifically for the manual trans Festiva guys.

Well the radiator I have is from the Junkyard and I can't remember if it was a manual or auto car that it came out of..........it has the extra cooler on the bottom so maybe is was from an auto festy?

                        Who knows......

Does your festy rad have 2 lines coming out at the bottom? If so than its a auto festy rad. Here's a pic of a auto festy rad..

Is your civic rad stock or aftermarket.

The festiva radiator does have the two little ports at the bottom for the trans cooler so it must have been from an auto car........and the civic radiator I bought from Discount Auto Parts.....it was the cheapest one they had in stock for a 92-95 civic?

The civic rad isn't much of a upgrade unless its a aluminum aftermarket one.
