Well I have a little sanding to do but otherwise she's all ready for paint. I wiped it down and noticed some filler still needs sanded down and leveled. I'm still hoping to have it painted before the weekends done. I'm still not sure about painting the bumpers.
Here's a pic.

I went to the store this evening for more masking tape and saw a 'brilliant' blue so I bought a couple cans. Here is a sneak preview... as I've gotten some paint on the car. drool
Here is one of the clear signals I got from Rolla.

Yeah, I don't know many ppl by name yet. But the blue I started with is pretty close to his. Not to worry, I went back and got enough of the other blue to finish the car. I will end up closer to the original paint color, not exact but close enough. This way I won't have to spray the inside. Not until I do the engine swap next year anyway and have the engine bay empty.
Thanks for the link btw.

looking good - will you be painting the bumpers and Grill as well?
Not at the moment. This was just to fix the rust and dent issues and get it back to one color. I plan to completely repaint the car (probably a diff color) when I do the engine swap next year.
I'll be working on the hatch next week and then I'm working on putting the interior back in, upgrading what I can. Next I plan to upgrade the suspension/brakes/wheels/tires. Come spring I'll tune up the B3 and start looking for an engine to swap.
That's the rough plan anyway.

ahh, jacob, when you do audio, you should give me a call, I can help you put 6.5" in the door, it looks stock to, its so much fun, and I've rewired the whole audiosystem before. Pro audio is one of my favorites, having a primarily electrical background, plus I've done some sound engineering for the last several years. personally I recomment 6.5" in front and back and subs in a cargo cover. what are your plans for the car?
