Exactly. But if Im looking at what you were doing with it your step or whatever youre calling it, is more rounded right? I would leave it rounded.

Nevermind, thats a chop and I can see that what youre trying to do is keep the rounded look yet blend it into the fender.

Its had to see the lines due to screwy shadowing, the lip or step is squared off right now I made it rounded in these pictures, Im try to save the boxy style and not go to rounded.

Im affraid it going to turn out more of a design of need rather then desire

No thats cool it may have been the 1st pic that was giving the step a rounded look. Boxy will look good. I think though that no matter what, where the fender and the step meet, theres going to be a rounded look. Otherwise, it wont blend together right.

You could make it " boxy". Just keep the top edge paralle to the bottom edge and have it fade into the flair. I think it looks good and sure that when you have finished it will look better than the original shogun.

A little off topic but my 80MM MAF arrived today !!! It replaces the last bottle neck in the intake, the factory 55MM MAF . Of course my chip now needs another "reburn". I should be getting close to 300 CHP .
