^^ LOL
It's not so bad until it's 3am and you're laying in bed wide awake thinking about cam grinds and port CFMs :toothy3:
I GUARANTEE the KLZE caused many a sleepless night :thumbup:Last edited by Zanzer; 07-08-2011, 06:07 PM.

Now that you mention that, ya you'd be right........ well i guess what i can do is wait until i have the booster mounted where i want it and test it out, then decide if a different master is even necessary
Just another thought, maybe a bigger booster could also help compensate for the dereased leverage?

Sounds good to me! I couldn't remember which way it went as far as bore size vs stroke...that's why I just got lazy and said a different bore size LOL. I used to be able to quote that stuff from memory when I was into building big Broncos but it's been a while At ~6000lbs they need all the help they can get.
The Aspire booster looks a good bit larger than the Festy. I started to pull one out to try on my last trip to PAP but after pulling all the suspension and a set of seats I had pretty much had enough of the heat.
A larger bore will require more effort but less stroke/travel. Maybe a slightly larger bore with the bigger booster would be a "happy medium" for you. I'd try the bigger booster first and see if it's adequate. If not, move up from there.Last edited by Zanzer; 07-08-2011, 09:48 PM.

Chris, I wasn't critisizing your build. I just don't want you to get hurt due to a miscalculation. I like the idea of moving the booster up, vs to the side. Good thinking!Jim DeAngelis

I plan on using a heat shield + heat wrap on the pipes and master cylinder
