Here is are pictures of the oil cap that Mike made. Sadly we destroyed 2 good hub caps to produce it, but I think it looks awesome! The engine is becoming more original as it gets back together.

Last but not least are pictures of the work done today. I went out a bought a magnaflow muffler for $40, which after a bit of clean up should be good to go, and I sand blasted the valve cover, so it is good to go for paint now. I am really happy with how smooth the valve cover is. It is getting painted Ford Red, and the exhaust manifold is getting painted black.

It is pretty much the same as what canadian tire sells, except canadian tire charges $145 +taxes. I figure since it is High Flow it should work.

Question, does this sound right? I measured the belt size that I need for the bp, the one that goes from the water pump to alternator to crank. I measured 33", is that the size that everyone else is using? What car do they usually come off of?

I wanted to verify with the other auto bp festiva's out there. Has anyone put a bp engine with an auto festiva tranny? Did you use a manual escort throttlebody and a manual escort ecm?
