I see what you were talking about the other night in your PM. Looks like they tried to screw the molding piece on at one time. Crazy. Still, I have faith that you will do it justice.
I think that is from a screw in dent puller. You screw it in then tug on it to pull dent out.

I think you're right, thats not the only place where the holes are at.

I thought about that after I hit "submit" but I was too lazy to go back and change my post.:p
Looks nice and rust free under the bumper covers. Still think you've got a solid project car there. Let's see where it goes.
Yeah for the most part it's nice, hopefully I'll build a cooler car than my last

Ran and moved for the first time in a long while today!
swapped out the fuel pressure regulator thanks to some troubleshooting help from eurotiva through PM's, thanks greg! and the car started right up and stays running now, still not 100% but it can move under it's own power again.

Drove the car around in the driveway/yard a little today just to let it drive some since it hadn't drove in a long while, runs a little rough but I'm just happy it's alive again!
Took some better pics of it while it was out of the barn so you can see it better since I can't really get any good pics of it while it's in the barn.

Amazes me that they can sit forever, and still fire right up. Batstiva sat in my barn for most of a year, hooked it up to a lawnmower battery, and she fired right up. Think she wants out.

Let the hoarding begin!!
Today I got the car to run right again, the reason why it was running bad before was because it had a 90-93 VAF on it, and that was making it run really rich/rough. Whenever my parents were driving the car and it was acting up they took it to a shop and the mechanic thought the vaf was the problem and put one from a 90-93 onto the car. I found the original VAF to the car today and installed it, and it's running good again I might give the car a tune up and replace some bushings in the front suspension, and a few other things, and then start daily driving this one instead of my green one for a while.

Update: My 93 is running great and it being a awesome daily driver, so that makes this one my new project, hope to get it done mechanically by this spring/summer so I'll have 2 festivas to drive. I still plan on doing a B6-E swap and aspire brake swap on this 89' festiva. I have the time to build it right now.. the only thing I'm lacking is the money for parts and such  looks like it's time to sell off some of my extra parts to fund the project.. or get a job.. or both

...at an auto parts store. Use the employee discount on Festy parts!
Or a junkyard. That worked out great for my first job- free tank of gas a week (from what they drain out of the gas tanks coming in) and 50% off all parts.
But the pay wasn't great and the job wasn't really involved.
