with the crap exhaust that i have on it, slipping clutch and a very bad launch (to much wheel spin) it still managed to get a 15.8

the car infront of me when the vid starts is grocery getter and his festiva that thing is so crazy fast i love it i was racing a 13 sec porsche somthing...

i think the CEL is the o2 sensor i put in... i took one of my old ones and i cant remember if its a bad one or not... every time the CEL comes on it runs a bit lean so im thinking its the o2 sensor...

Sounds like some good progress,
1. what was your track time?
2. any luck on your check engine light? maybe yours and mine are related some how considering we basically did the same thing, with minor differences to the engine.

got it running alot better turns out the dist was junk got a new one and it made it run so much smoother also i figgured out that you can adjust your idle mixture (A/F ratio) by tilting the airflow meter i call it the "tilt and tune" patent pending

also got the car ready for racing tomorrow, took out all the junk in the trunk (spare parts and stuff from doing the motor swap), back seat, that seatbelt bar (i dont think tech will like it and i dont need it for drag racing lol...) also put in the stock front seat, took out the sub and the 6x9s behind the front seats and got the slick out from the shop... im still not to sure if im gonna bring them or not...

i fixed the lean problem a combo of putting the MAF on a tilt, no o2 sensor, and low gas lol... but my "check engine light" wont turn off any ideas? ooo and what i have the dist. turnd all the way back to the firewall, and if i turn it forward at all it lowers the rpm and runs like crap... whats up with that? i cant remember if thats all the way retarded or advanced, what is it?

thanks for all the kind words people im gonna go work on the last bits before i go to the track the moment i get my refund from the GOV im getting the last parts i need for my turbo and then comes the boost for some reason im running very lean (maxing the gauge out at 21.0) all the time... unless i floor it, then it goes to 13.2 ish... i think its cause i still dont have a stock o2 sensor hooked up... i also added a muffler to it cause it was way to noisy... i put on a flowmaster 44 as a temp fix....

funny story... the day i got it running me an my friend went for a drive, we where driving to my friends house and i do about 160kmh past his house, with no exhaust (2.5inch pipe dumping under oil pan) and then i turn around a couple driveways down the road... i start ripping it going the other way and what do you know a cop comes over the hill and im doing 105kmh in a 60 zone i get pulled over and long story short i get a $198 speeding ticket and 3 points lucky he didnt give me any ticket for exess noise and exessive speeding (which i was) and missing body panals... but ya i got caught for speeding within 20 min of getting it running lol...

im gonna go work on it now
