the last few weeks i havnt done much to my car other than this...
Discuss enhancing your Festiva or Aspire interior and exterior (including custom paint, bodywork, seats, etc)
gave the shifter a bend cause it was to close to the radio....
i got this oil cap for free with all that b6t stuff but i didnt like the look of the blue...
gave it some high temp blackit adds like 5 hp
also added some black netting stuff over the spark plug wire cause i didnt like the look of it...
and last but not least....
GO CANUCKS!!!!
in the next couple days i should be picking up the last few parts i need to turbo it

ya i know
im thinking ill put all the parts on a b6d block and use the b6d pistons and run low boost on it, then put it in my parts car and make that a back up car so i can drive that when i put the turbo on zippybut who knows how long that will take lol....

ok after thinking about it for a while, im gonna buy a megasquirt kitim tired of dealing with that stupid VAF... hello MS, bye bye VAF
also i like how i can tune the motor
and the cool thing is that LEX on CP.com lives under a hour away from me
ooo and i also forgot.... i went out and got a BUNCH of b6t stuff FOR FREE yesterdayi got a wack load of stuff like a b6t gtx motor - the block, turbo and "good"/"useable" pistons lol, festiva trans, 2 flywheels, box of relays/switches and stuff, i still havnt gone thru everything but there is alot of good stuff in there

Vac at idle can vary based on ign timing, idle speed, and how the vaf is set.
My base timing is 4* btdc. I do not have my ics hooked up so i turned the screw in the TB to "up" the idle. I'm getting my Megasquirt (hopefully it'll arrive tomorrow) ,so I'll have more control of Everything.
Any updates Mike?

i also have one other problem... when i start it in the morning it revs up to 2000 rpm and wont go down till its at 150F water temp.... and it will only go down to 1000 rpm when its warm(180)... shouldnt it be 700rpm? ooo and my vacuum is only 17in shouldnt it be 20in? so im thinking i have a vac leak... dose that sound like its the problem?

this time when i was at the drags i had my hood open for the first time, everyone was looking at my motor
got the new exhaust a few days ago for when i do the turboi still need to buy a 180 and a 90 for the down pipe and then some WG piping...
ooo ya, and its MASSIVE3 inch
thats a spray paint can :shock:
photo shooti chopped the braces out of the hood to make it look nicer on the bottom
but i didnt have any black paint
i dont know if i like it in white but it seams to make the engine bay brighter
and i know the exhaust is messed up... its the only muffler i had laying around that fit...
