but i don't really want to be this low, just a game of trial and error. i'll prolly source some stock springs and cut just enough to not be running on bumpstops....or a diy coilover

        i guess i can multiquote now :laughing6:

and i drove it after the removal of fronts, and it's bad lol. i can deal with it, but i'm gonna see what i can figure out to keep it around this low with a slightly better ride.

                i'm so torn now

aspire brakes and find some 4x100's

                or

new pads/rotors and use my 4x114's

and now i'm thinking ebay coilovers on new struts. can't make up my darned mind

edit: i guess i'll run 4x114's until the bp swap, then do aspire brakes at the same time

You can do the Capri swap (just front brakes) and use you 4x114 wheels.

All you need is lowering springs and Aspire lower control arms. And the Capri hubs with everything on them of course.

got my hood almost finished last night. still need to install the scoop.

the darker grey areas are e-coat that is a PAIN to remove, and the rusty/silver spots are where we bore through the e-coat. i actually like the way it came out, and the pics are after an acid bath, peroxide bath, and finally out all night in the rain.

                                the hood? no, factory steel.

one of the new trends in the vw/bmw world is rusty hoods. most people hate it, i like it.

plus i plan on buying a few hoods to do a few diff finishes. change the hood depending on the look i want

and i'm 100% decided on flat blacking the car (will start weds) and gloss red wheels (whatever i can find or the 15" steelies if i buy tires)
