Well, after a YEAR of casual labor, the B6 was finally ready for install into Hula Baloo. The engine aquired was supposedly "in great shape, ready to drop in"... aquired from a member here, I won't say who. Anyway... took care of the multitude of issues, did a little painting, and finally popped it in today. Still need to do all the other tasks required to switch to MTX from ATX, but here's some pics! Sorry for the crappy cell phone quality...

head and intakes gasket matched, port work, minor bowl work, FMS street cam (which I discovered has an issue and needs to be removed!!! - temporarily), B8 throttle body, and ever-so-slightly larger injectors.
Haven't decided yet, but a turbo may be in the works...Jim DeAngelis

actually, that's in one of shops at work (school). That shop has 6 twin-post lifts and 2 drive-on alignment racks. The other shop has 7 twin posts.Jim DeAngelis
