                93 L TEAL ( this winter new paint) full 2.25" exaust w/flowmaster 2 chamber! all black interoir! coil overs and aspire swap in the wings and 14" jetta mk3 alloy wheels! bp+t on the way!

                    It won't take clutch dumps to blow the tailshaft off the stock tranny. Don't ask me how I know. I did it full pull in 4th with 154 hp. But 170 ft.lbs. of torque.

                      ^^ Doesnt need that even, i did it downshifting into 4th to pull a hill on the highway with a stock b3 setup

                        Matt, these trans are not that tough,with your connections why not cryo freeze it and maybe it might just last a little longer.
                        An idea can turn to dust or magic, depending on the talent that rubs against it.

                              how fast were you going when you downshifted

                              i mean in my experience my stock tranny hasnt had any issues even when im hard on it, which is hard to dowith a b3.

                                To accurately judge the durability of the b3 trans i would have to have one come apart under my own circumstances as i said before , either i'm easier on my stuff than other guys or just lucky , but usually my outlaw car went home intact and i raced pro level 97' to 00' . I've put c4's behind 1200hp engines with good sucsess it has 4.100 clutch pack.I guess when you see the numbers my festiva 's putting to the ground you'll see what the trans will hold, and for how long!
