Oh and the big news, i was going through the bag of receipts i got when i bought the 323 and i found a dyno sheet. my b6t put down 170 hp and 175ft lbs of torque on 12lbs of boost on a mustang dyno. not too shabby
Got my turbo back from the shop they made it so pretty,
Had a new oil inlet line made yesterday
installed a gtx upper wing on my festiva
My friend came over and we persevered the rain and made a 2 1/2 inch exhaust system for the car today. with a magnaflow muffler and cat
i have been working on an open grill at school in my spare time, i used a 91 grill because i wanted a challenge, haha i think it turned out pretty good. gonna throw a coat of black on it after spring break.
^^^ That grill turned out sick! I want to do it to my 88 grille, way easier but mine has a crack in it...
Thanks man, it still needs a little work but its getting there.
and on a sad note i was finishing up my b6t swap today plugged everything in put the fluids in turn the key and nothing.
I used a 323 gt harness so its a little different than the capri.
I have power to the starter and the festiva fuse block but none to the coil pack.(im confused on the coil, do you use the festiva harness to the coil or the b6t harness to the coil) So if someone could help me out i would be forever grateful, Thanks

You splice two wires from the green connector into the stock Festiva coil wires and use the Capri coil.
I had a problem with no spark for the longest time, and this was my solution:
1993 Ford Festiva 5-Speed - Festiclese III - Cousin of the Banhammer - "The Jalopnik Car"
1984 Toyota Cressida - 2JZGE Swap, Turbocharged.
2013 Mazda Mazda2 - Exhaust and Wheels (the daily)
2002 Toyota Tundra - V6/Auto/2WD - The Tow Vehicle.
Thanks man,
i have the coil wiring all figured out, i get what your talking about with knock box, but have no idea whats going on in that picture you took of it. Any chance you could explain to me whats going on.
so i wired up the coil (correctly) today and i cut open the knock box connection and found the webbing stuff, i grounded that, and i got nothing, i used a remote start to turn the engine over but i got no spark and no power to the ignition coil. and when i turn the key nothing at all happens
im thinking i did something wrong under the dash, i followed chris's write up, i guess im gonna take it apart and double check everything and see what happens.
if anyone has any input i would love to here it, many thanks
Today my uncle came over, he is a ford master tech, of course it was raining all day, but we were determined to get my festiva running today, after 4 long hours in the rain we found the problem.
As with wiring it was something simple, someone had been in the wiring before and a couple of the dist. wires going to the connector were severed.
