Congrats on the find. Old lady cars are the best. Add your location to you profile under the user control panel. Maybe someone is close and could give you ideas or even help you with your project.

      Welcome to the site.

Give it two weeks and you'll be asking how to make the little thing go faster!!!!

Found 1991 Mazda Protege for sale. Guy asking $400. Negotiated him down to $250. Here are some pics.

What do you guys think of this swap?

Do it up! Looks to be in great shape... the B8 swap is such a breeze, especially with a 93!

Just got back from Dallas, an 8 hour round trip, and here it is. Got all that I need to do my B8 swap. So far I got the 93 Festiva L and the 91 Protege DX for a total of $375.

If you're following the swap guide, feel free to take lots of pictures, and then I'll add them into the how-to for others to use! Best of luck... you're doing great so far. Also check out my F5MR discussion thread, since your Protege has a cable clutch, and great gear ratios.

Did test install in my Ford Ranger of new Sound System (JL Audio) and it is awesome. Massive sound, super clarity, and no distortion. Will be going in the Festy soon.
