Stripped Interior
Pulled the seats out and carpet for reconditioning. Body looks great under the carpet with no rust at all. Also, a little teaser. Figured out a way to swap 91 Protege seats with no mods at all. Takes all of 30 mins. Pics to come with instructions soon.Last edited by stdsmt22; 10-17-2010, 07:55 PM.----------------------------------------------

Pressure Washed Carpet
Pressure washed the carpet and then steam cleaned it. Looks like 95% better. Hard to see the difference on these pics. But it is like night and day.----------------------------------------------

Finished the tear down of all the wanted parts from the donor and it is going to the scrap yard tomorrow. Pulled the cam shaft out and should be taking the head to the machine shop in a day or too. I believe the term is "porting." Also, took the door panels off the Festy. They will make a great jig for the custom door panels.----------------------------------------------

Cleaning Parts
Made a huge mess last night. Trying to get parts cleaned and spilt about a gallon of mineral spirts and sludge in the garage. Looks like "The Grave Digger" took a dump in bay one. Anyways, should be finished cleaning tonight and will be ready for paint tomorrow. Hoping to have this thing put back together this week or early next week.
Still need to go to the pickapart to get the rear beam, radiator, control arm, and extras.
More pics coming soon.----------------------------------------------
