i also think the cam will help it build more boost in the powerband but i don't think the cam is that aggressive to have it cause lag, its worth a shot tho!

right now as it sits the car is chilling up on jackstands in fastorbusts dads garage, were in the process of lowering it and doing the aspire brake swap due to it being so cold out were waiting for it to warm up. fastorbust and i are roommates now and have our own house were trying to decide whether we want to bring it back to our house or keep it at his dads and finish it, ive been pushing him to work on it since i have a space heater too. and the cam was sold to nerd racing a long time ago so were not using the cam, were waiting for nerd racing to come help us as he just finished getting his awd protege done, i also bought a 94 talon tsi awd, and fastorbust is selling his 91 talon tsi awd so he can get a 92 talon tsi awd, we should be working on this again soon. last time we were having trouble with the rear swing arm from the aspire as the one shock bolt snaped and we have to drill a hold to get a wrench in so we can tighten down the rear strut. im excited to get this car out to the track and see what kind of numbers we put down, we might crank the boost up to 8 or 10 pounds when we have it done

great bulid guys looks like alot of work!

the way you guys have the rear strut brace is prob not the best idea its prob gunna do more harm than good. My idea would be to bolt it to the actual shock towers rather than the shock.

Also be careful with the narrow band, (if that is a narrowband im assuming) because its really misleading, try invest in a wideband before you up the boost , i would hate to see you send the piston through the hood because of the silly narrowband lighting show.

indeed its a narrow band its like a useless christmass tree light, lol, im pretty sure fast or bust will get a cheap wideband but who knos its his car, and the rear strut brace is only able to connect to the strut towers, idk but i saw it somewhere on here that someone uses the same one and it works like a charm, i really wish we could finish this car and get it in paint and on the road i wanna drive it since we all worked so hard on it, in the beginning of December is the last time we worked on it

it will be ran in the 1/8th mile there isn't really a 1/4th track that is close to us, im hoping it will run low 12's or maybe 10's his aspire was stock and had a intake and exhaust and ran 13's in the 1/8th so idk well see what happens idk what is realistic for this car with a bolt on backyard turbo kit

I think 9's is gonna be pretty easy. My festiva stock went 12.34 in the 1/8th.

                            Now it goes 8.60's....

im boosting my b3 .. but im keeping a/c so rear turbo is on the menu......i have a td04 13g from a volvo v70 ... its nice and small so should spool decently ..........i read all of the b3 builds and think that we should be able to build what WE want in OUR OWN CAR... so ignore the b3 haters... im doing this build because i also plan on being able to keep 40 mpg hwy just buy staying light on the pedal...
