This is what I have been up to lately. In no particular order.
Bought a battery that had a vent hole and put it in the spare tire well.

Capri rims and tires for $75, havent actually put them on yet.

Slim fan and new two core radiator.

Valve cover gasket, distributor cap & rotor, ngk plugs, axle boot still needs to be done.

Bought the cat for $25 from the guy that sold me the Capri wheels, engine, tranny. I wanted him to sell me the pipe after the downpipe but he wanted $100 lol. I had to go to the jy and it turns out they don't unbolt the cat, they just cut off the pipes connecting to it. I had to make a pipe to join the cat and partial j pipe.

Built a 2.5 inch cat back with a Raptor muffler, it didn't quiet it down much. It was the cheapest I could afford, It's painted black now.

It should be terrorizing the streets by this weekend!! :blob6:

That is too funny to not laugh I don't plan on going any faster then highway speeds because of the stock brakes but, I will be doing plenty of hard pulls on the on ramp.

I just finished it up and took it for the first drive. effin SCARY!! I took it out with the stock festy tires and they started spinning in 2nd when I was getting on the freeway. Now it needs a wheel bearing though

It has two problems right now.
                    1) The check engine light turns on intermidiately.
                    2) The speedo, fuel, and temp gauges aren't working.
                    Any suggestions?

I'll do a video when everything is straightened out.

1)The first thing you need to do is check the engine light and find out what it means. I believe you have to ground a wire under the engine in order to check it.
                        2) When I did my BP Swap I had the exact same problem. First of all start with the speedo as it is most important. With my swap I ended up accidentally wrecking the speedo, and once it was replaced it was good. For the fuel gauge, it turned out that my fuel pump sending unit decided to also go when I did the swap. Replacing that fixed it. Finally the coolant gauge I have no idea.
It is possible that the fuel and coolant gauge are related if there is no power to the cluster, but since you have a check engine light coming on, I think I would rule that out. Last resort you can always look through your fuses and make sure they are all good to go.

                              Awesome, must be scary.

It doesn't feel fast anymore since I've driven it some more. My fuel gauge wasn't working because I didn't have any gas(duh) and my temp gauge wasn't even connected to the thermostat housing.

This is what I've been doing other than trying to pass emissions.
Painted rims with cows! I need spacers for the back though.

Built a battery holder so it complies with the track rules. It could have used some more beauty work.

                              And I got a tach!

The track said I needed to get a battery box, cut-off switch and and fire proof jacket so I did... I also got my alignment issue fixed.

I wasn't going to pay $70 for a plastic box so I built my own for $20
