i respect anything that gose fast... if i see somthing that i have never seen before like 12 secd mini cooper and then there is a 10 sec civic sitting beside it ill be more interested in the mini over the civic cause its somthing you dont see every day but i dont "hate" civics i like them alot, i have been thinking about building a b18 turbo crx... the only thing i dont like is when people have a fast as frick car and then they stick a stupid body kit on it with big ugly wings, fins and vents that dont do anything... (aka, a ricer lol...)

I'm with you 100% Mike. In fact, I was looking at picking up a CRX for a B20/VTEC swap myself, but there's just something about Festivas and I'm hooked! Also, it's nice to be "different".

You have one nice car there Fetman, the EG Civic is one of my fav hatches. Nice seat too!

Mike's dad spend a solid half the day welding my rockers back together, one sides done-ish now for the other one side haha

My corner lights used to fit like shit, Now they are buttery and line up perfectly. new headlights (jdm ones free, beats the hell out of smashed usdm ones)

Left side is done, well roughly done still need to block it more etc. Right side has two pin holes in it that have to be looked after. Gonna work on it this weekend.



Last year, i blew my original si trans, got another si trans and it was worse then my original one, so scrambling for time I found a cheap ek dx trans and jammed it in. ( the worst geared d series transmission ). Tonight I bought another si one for $40 put a new release bearing and new axel seals in it and put it in.







Also picked this up for $20, beats my poly filled one ten fold.

Also picked up Russel stainless brake lines for 50$ BNIB, started putting those on tonight and ran out of time.

Also abit of a side project, I picked up a cheap hobby Powder gun to do odds and ends. Here is a spare valve cover I did, ( I am no pro, it took me 3 attempts to get it decent haha)



Started stripping my wheels today aswell

Didn't really touch the car much this week, altho i did manage to just about get all four of my wheels stripped. Didn't get a picture of it just before going into the oven, I used a furniture stripper from home depot (25$) and a wire brush to get the old paint off.

First love the hatch. Hate thieves. Most of the reson im scared of owning hondas.

Second please tell us more about the hobby powder gun kit you have. Is it like the ones sold in jegs catalog or something else?

it is made by wai, i got it from summit racing.

Good little kit (100$), but it can be annoying.

Sprayed some primer today, but had a gun mal-function and had to stop early.









Other then that, everything is prepped and ready to go for a second coat of primer - although i am looking for a good 92-95 civic 2/3 door front bumper. I noticed mine has a nice crack in it, i will likely paint it and rock it till i can find a new one because its already prepped.
