the engine I'm rebuilding has 263K original to the car (so far as I can tell) that the head was cracked between Cylinder #3's Intake and Exhaust Ports..... apparently the previous owner was a FIRM believer in STOP LEAK products for the RADIATOR that was SHOT!!!! New Radiator fresh rebuild new clutch and CV joints...

EDIT: as a matter of fact it was actually lighter gold than that.....
I'm hoping with all new gaskets and such won't need STOP LEAK products and the engine will stay clean

Right on man! Let's see the mpg you can get with that one. Must have missed the reason why your replacing the engine. Was it just worn out? Previously abused?

Painted the valve cover before I put it back on with the new gasket Also painted the oil fill cap, my dad taught me a trick to put grease in the oil sign on top so the paint wouldnt stay there and it would almost look factory. Here she is

Oh and here are the wheels I want to buy from a friend, they are off his geo and he said $100 and my set of geo 13's and I could have them. What do you guys think? I want to paint them bronze

Znice looking wheel but I think I may have missed your color scheme. White car, green motor, bronze wheels? Might want to choose a scheme and stick to it lol

My favorite color is lime green, so I hide it under the hood the white and bronze go really well together so that's what is seen by everyone haha

Definitely get those wheels and paint them either bronze or gold!

I used dupli-color bed liner for the floor of the car, I love it! It has a small texture to it but at the same time isnt like sandpaper. Its a little on the expensive side (9 bucks a can) but well worth it in my mind. Only took 3 cans to put a pretty decent coat on. Here are some pics

Oh and almost got the motor out tonight but I had plans so I had to quit early, just have to push the tranny side so it doesnt hit the rad fan. Then she's out!

I really like those wheels. That paint looks real slick. I think I may get some myself.
