Took the Festiva linkage and cut the end off. Then cut the end of the Capri linkage off slid it over the Festiva linkage and mocked it, drilled a hole threw it and put a stainless hardened bolt and nut threw it and wall-la shift linkage no weld.
Sorry man, but i am not a fan of that piping, i mean i'm sure its a tight engine bay with A/C and all but isn't there anyway to keep it in the engine bay? lol
Trimmed up the lower bumper for intercooler, made a support bracket for Intercooler, routed cold side, trimmed up bumper for AC line, and almost finished the lower radiator hose routing.
Still need to thermo wrap a few parts, fill tranny with fluid, exhaust, shift linkage, seats, bleed brakes, throw some fresh gas and start her up.
Looks like rust in this pic but its not
And I need to clamp these up!
I bought some Thermo Tec Thermo Guard Insulation today for my radiator hose, and AC lines to help out with extreme turbo heat. The company claims "*
Thermo-Guard FR offers the best in heat and sound insulation. This lightweight, durable shield does everything: reduces sound, absorbs vibration, protects from radiant heat and provides an extra layer of insulating padding. The product features 100% synthetic fiber felt that provides sound and comfort control and a high-tech foil
heat barrier that blocks 70%(One-Sided) of radiant heat up to 1500º F.
