Wow! I have got to make me one of those! I've always planned on getting rid of the stock fill location (or at least the lock), but now I know what I want. That is slick!

Nice work on the headliner and taillights too! I'm looking forward to the rest of the progress.

I'll have to get some pics of the hose routing. Seats are still yours when we get the chance! I gotta start on putting the new seats in too!

Say, for the taillight, how does that setup do with the rain? You manage to avoid leaks?

Currently it leaks like an SOB because the old ziptied taillight is still in place (there is no gasket and its loosely held in place). If I can get the original hinged setup back in the way it was then I should be leak free!

Looking good... Makes me miss the thing though. :\

Headliner looks sweet! I had one cutout like that in Pimptiva, except I didn't have a way to make it "look complete" with the cutout of the ragtop. I was looking for something that would mold it in place, but never found anything.

As far as the tail light setup... It would be 100% leak free if sealed up how it was when I had it. That is the stock filler (cut out from the inside of the car) and then welded in behind the tail light area. Everything was sealed up after to make it not leak. The tail light itself didn't open because the hatch would keep it from opening, unless you popped the hatch. The setup looked sweet, but was a pain. You've got to pop the hatch to fill up, and it clicked off a lot. Although, you did get a little bit more gas on the fillup because of the added tube.

As far as interior location. The interior plastic liner pieces fit in place and then a custom bent pipe ran down along the floorboard and into the tank. In the Pimptiva, I had it covered by a raise diamond plate floor for the air suspension setup... Without that, it might look a little awkward, but you could make it look ok if you covered it up somehow.

                Can't wait to see more.

^Yeah I plan on having a false floor similar to what you had. I think I'm gonna raise mine to be level with the opening of the hatch though (plenty of storage space underneath!). Can't wait to get the wheels and bumpers on and show it off a little

She looks funny with steel rims on her. I never drove it in the rain much because the fun top liked to leak in the rain. Yeah it was zip tied in just for FM4 and that was the last time I drove it so I never bothered to finish the light, I was going to cut out that filler part and put some hole in for a stock tail light to bolt in.

I just rotated the filler pipe so you should be able to loosen the ban clamps and rotate it back into the whole, just make sure you get them tight or all you will smell is gas fumes in the car. I would also recommend getting someone that can weld to weld those strut access holes from Simon's old air suspension setup shut. They let in a bit of exhaust smell when driving with the windows up.

Hey Cody I see in the background a set of wheels with the same bolt pattern. But if you need a set to use till you get the rims you want I've got a spare set of S'cort GT wheels you can use.

So did you get it in running condition with the BPT etc? If not, what's the plans for it?

It's running with a BP and stock festy trans.....I figured that would be good enough for my driving habits

Got the headliner in and took some pics of the plastics installed as well....

Also installed a set of led tag light bolts I got off ebay. These things are pretty sweet! Since I have the shaved hatch and no tag lights, that was one thing I needed to fix before I could pass inspection. These bolts have a built in led light so they bolt the tag to the car and light it up!
