  • You have the jackshaft for the awd transmission, does it bolt to the block in the same place? Could you fit the intermediate shaft from something to it? I don'tknow lol..I'd get ahold of nerd racing, maybe he has some random info floating around in his head that could help you..

      i used to, I sold it along time ago when I thought I had a extra half shaft... it bolted to the bpt block in the same place

      • The awd trans is a G series, the axles are specific to the awd trans though

          • ^^ that sucks that you sold them off... copied from my PM to you just now:

            well for my setup I'm running 90-91 protege axles

            But my wheel base will be widened.

            What you need are a set of BF GTX axles for the 323 GTX DOHC Turbo AWD, then you need to take the passenger side axle that came with the BPT trans and put that inner CV in place of the Inner CV on the BF axle. Use your BF GTX jack shaft and passenger axle as is.

                driver's side axle = BF 323 GTX driver's axle + BG AWD Inner CV Joint

                Passenger side axle = BF 323 GTX axle and either BG or BF 4wd Intermediate shaft

                Clear as mud?

                • okay...ive got the inner cv stub joint for the drivers side so I need

                  BF 323 GTX driver's axle
                  BF 323 GTX axle and either BG or BF 4wd Intermediate shaft

                  then take the drivers side and swap inner stub shafts.

                  clear as mud lol

                            Umm, the BF 4wd intermediate shaft will *not* work in the BG GTX trans, you will need a Familia GTX or 4wd protege intermediate shaft

                            IIRC the passenger side shaft will also need to be a hybrid of BG+BF axle, I don't think the BF axle fits on the BG int. shaft

                              I figure it'd he like us throwing in an EGT trans using Capri axles
