  • Got the Girlfriend a Festiva!

It's a white, automatic 1991 GL with 111K miles on it for $200! Drove it an hour to get home!

Starts right up, idles rough because it has a bad exhaust valve, but drives just fine.

Three good tires and one that needs to be replaced, pronto.

    Horn works!

Broken headlight, a little bit of through-rust in front of the rear tires, cosmetically not bad (after a bit of spray paint!) on the outside and it has a blue stripe interior.

The lady-friend is going to appreciate the air conditioning and sun roof, both of which I'm jealous of!

It really just needs a good detailing, a few tiny electrical problems sorted out and some love.

I'm heading to the junkyard for an Aspire head, tire, headlight and window regulator tomorrow.

Make sure you take a good look at the rear beam mounting points. With the rust as it is back there I would be concerned. Otherwise that looks like a decently sweet deal.

I checked a little while ago. Looks solid to me!

I've been putsing around it and got a few little quirks worked out like getting the headlights to work and reinstalling the wiper stalk!

200 bucks for something for a girlfriend and shes going to use it everyday and for years? Only a festiva can do that. Ive bought other $200 things and they got returned behind my back lol. Cant not notice the car eh
