I was on vacation, sorry for the long lost response! Answer: Yes! It works great. Burns a little oil but it might be too full. I'm going to change it in a couple hundred miles anyways because the engine was pretty gunky before I started working on it.
She's been driving it for a few weeks. A few tiny problems have cropped up like a leaking valve stem and a (very!) corroded battery terminal that caused a scary no-start.
I've still got to get to the yard to pick up a window regulator, headlight and a lot of bits and bobs.-Zack
