The pile of crap that got cut out was from the protege harness and would not be related to the millennia stuff.... I barely cut anything out of the KJ harness

off the topic of the running issue, you may want to box in the stock intercoolers and make them Air to water coolers. Seems easier than a front mount for your application.Driving for me is neither a right nor a privilege. Hmm, that's not a bad idea, I will definitely keep that in mind for when I'm ready to upgrade the I/C setup... Thanks man

I agree arty that a lack of fuel supply will cause issues, you don't need to explain that to me, but there is no load on the engine while revving in neutral..... So let me re-phrase... with a pump that can keep up with a KL at WOT, do you really think it can't keep up in neutral revving?? Where fuel supply is no where near as demanding as WOT??

i'm not thinking it's the pump per-say, but a flow restriction since the swap. something that changed since the KL. also, this may be a PCM reaction to a no load rev since the ECU is looking for the ATX input shaft speed signal and line pressure switches that are no longer there. but i'd still eliminate the possibility of a fuel restriction first.Trees aren't kind to me...

Did you get any of the tps wires swapped around? I'd also check to make sure its adjusted right and is working properly. Make sure you didn't leave a rag in the intake, I've done that before.Driving for me is neither a right nor a privilege. Arty, now I think I know what your trying to say lol I've already gone over the lines to check for a resistant and no change... Lines are good there... As for the pump itself, it's been wired to turn on/off with the key but I see what your saying that the KJ ECU may look for that signal, I'll check the diagrams to look into that a bit more
Charlie - TPS wires are all correct where they need to be, and since I never took the TPS off the throttle body, it should not need adjustment, and I wish it was as simple as a rag in the intake but I'm not that lucky lolLast edited by Damkid; 11-21-2011, 06:36 PM.

Arty, the fuel pump is not related to the KJ ECU according to my diagrams
Charlie, you gave me an idea, im gunna double check to make sure none of my TPS wires came un-done while I re-wrapped the harness.... It's just another shot in the dark but it's worth a shot

not the pump, the injector control (flow drop) will come from the ECU. i know the pump isn't ECU controled. also a MAF signal fauly can do this too (need a scanner or good DVOM to watch this.)Trees aren't kind to me...

Everything I have checked with the fuel system is in good order.... So I believe fuel can be ruled out
I just got done doing a continuity test for the MAF wires and all good as well.... Yes I'm posting from the garage.....

it's not the continuity you need to look at, it's the signal back to the ECU after the 5v ref in that needs monitored. need to look for signal drop. should be something near 1.5v at idle and 4+ at 5000.Trees aren't kind to me...
