Got off work at around 9PM, headed over there. Cranked the engine at 11PM, all thats left is topping off the rad, and its good to rock and roll. Running great!
Sparky and his niece arrived this afternoon and departed with the car... only to return after a short trip down the road due to a clicking noise. Fortunately it was just a missing clip on one of the front brake pins causing to bump on the back side of the wheel. Fixed it they left again.
Crappy pic, but it was the best I could do since that thing took off so fast!
Just got word that they arrived home safely and without issue, so I'm now officially turning this thread over to Sparky!
Thanks for all your good work, Htchbk....couldn't have done it without you! Car drove out really nicely, really smooth acceleration. I was surprised at how quick it was! I can only imagine how one of those B6 motors feels in a Festy...perhaps in time....
Sparky, if you really want a B6 in a festy, I'm sure you now know who can make that happen!

I love that gen of Tracer! They have been really rare for me to see. And the grill on that looks just about the same as a Festys! Anyone have an idea if the grill from that could fit on a Festiva? It would be cool to see a Mercury grill on a fest, i would call it.. the Mercstiva!
Im a festiva fanatic that travel between texas and california. I love to go festiva spoting and see the unique ones on here. I am awaiting to get one at the right price in my areas.
Made the drive down to my neice's place to deliver the Tracer today...it handled the trip with no trouble whatsoever...totally made her day! I told her if she ever gets tired of it to give me a ring!
