After installing your coilovers, check to make sure they don't smell bad.

a little teaser of what im working on now...

and i just orderd my intercooler and stuff this morning... so as soon as i get that in the door, ill get some pics

and with the new bumper, i orderd a HUGE intercooler... like the one in the pic... the only reason im not using that one is cause it wont fit very well, its beat up and its going on a diffrent project...

      stay tuned...

wow, this thing is a BIG job to make it fit/look like it was factory... (i cant stand body panels that dont line up right...) and trying to get the gap under the marker light is turning out to be very hard... i have spent the last hour with the heat gun and its looking ALOT better but still not perfect...

I think a impreza 2.5rs bumper would make a festiva look mean! Stylus bumper look pretty cool too!

Post up some pics! Out of all the others (well not that many I guess) that have done this swap since me I've yet to see pics of the mods they went through to mount theirs. Wish I had taken some progress pics of mine but I never knew it was gonna turn out so good! You should post up any and all pics of your progress for sure

ok i FINALYgot the intercooler ordered after a bunch of mix ups and me changing my mind on what i want... (after i got my new bumper, i orderd a intercooler a fair bit bigger than the one i had on order lol...) so the intercooler was gonna be a 28x7x2.5 but it got bumped up to 29x11x3 and should fit great... i was gonna get a even bigger one but didnt want to make custom end tanks...

im gonna put the bumper on hold untill i get the intercooler just to make sure it will fit the way i want...

                              UPDATE!!!

i finaly got my parts it all looks AWESOME, i cant wait to get started on this

i see alot of traction problems in my future, so i have been stock piling tires lol... i still have 2 others that i are at the shop that are going on right away cause my fronts are toast lol... some of them are low tread but still have a few miles left... some of them are like new and have lots of life left but im probably just gonna burn thru them very quick lol.....

ok now on to the parts i just got

first off, the rad, its a civic 3 core "race" rad and should be perfect fit and lots of cooling for what i need... and looks awesome

as you can see, its very thick cause of the tripple cores... (and no i dont have small hands... just look at the size of the rad cap to the thickness of the rad lol...)

next is all the v-band clamps for the exhaust... 2.5 inch and 3 inch...

                              next is the intercooler piping...

and last but not least, the intercooler.... its HUGE, even bigger than i thought it would be lol... thats a 12G shot gun shell beside it...

it looks so awesome, it blew my mind

and the piping will fit perfect with a bit of trimming...

and it fits behind the bumper... just... lol

also took out the zeitronix wideband and put in the AEM one, i like it

                              thats all for now...
                              stay tuned
