i think you might be able to use the stock pump but im not 100% sure. for the axles theres 3 parts, 2 axles and the uber rare jack shaft. I think someone on here was just selling a jack shaft recently. if not theres a capri in a junkyard by me, i just dont have any time at the moment.

I went to the yard near me today and there is not one festiva or capri or 323. There was 2 aspires so I got all the stuff for the swap. What else could I get those axles out of? Are you feeling any better?

Do I need to keep the Vacuum canister? What about the stuff that is mounted on the bracket with the ignition coil? I'm installing the Aspire sway bar, I can use it with the Festiva lower control arms right?

I I'll be making the motor mounts tomorrow. What vehicles can I get the passenger side cv axle and jackshaft for the g25mr and the aspire swap? Also is there room to make a front transmission mount with the aspire sway bar and stock festiva crossmember?

mercury capri xr2 or mazda 323 gt 86-88? (there about 80 buxs from autozone, they just need a core, give them a festi axle they wont know.) the aspire sway bar should not interfere with the front trans mount. for the front trans mount use a capri one and just relocate the hole. put the axles in, get them as straight as possible and make your mounts around trying to keep it straight. I will get you some pictures this weekend with dimensions, i forgot to show you them while you where out here.

Update

So I had to work a 16 hour shift last night which kinda threw a wrench in my plans of working on the car all day. I wasn't very motivated this morning once I got home, but I managed to get the motor sitting in the engine compartment and now I can work on the motor mounts.



Cleaned up engine compartment. The whole thing was just coated in oil and grease. Ill tell you that cascade dishwasher soap works wonders!!



Here it is the motor and my precision cherry picker. lol.(notice the brand!!!)



Looks good sitting there under the hood. I can't wait to get it running. Does anyone have any pictures of the motor mounts they made? I could really use some direction there.

You can use KIA Rio 2000 to 2002 axles for this build to get you by for now !!! They will fit with all components . Or you could even go with the Rio trans and use the mounts from it and all your problems will be solved ...

Ive been having a terrible time with the cross member, I took it off today and the front frame is so rusted. I wrote about the cross member in a separate thread here : http://www.fordfestiva.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=38330

Fuel pump will work but change it out before you start upping the boost.
