        intercooler came in the mail today, looks like ill be working on charge piping this weekend

          cut up the bumper quick and installed the front mount IC. ive got a good clean dark non-painted bumper ill put on it down the road once everything else is running great and looks actually bother me.


          also removed the pan and tapped the oil return line and then reinstalled. all the turbo plumbing is done now, both coolant and oil. whats left is the rest of the charge piping (ive gotta make a very sharp turn off the compressor outlet since it faces directly into the lower crossmember and cant be reclocked due to the internal wastegate) and then to wire up the two coil packs and ignitors to the Megasquirt. gonna make a nice little mount for the ignitors where the old bracket for the plug wires used to sit on the two bolts next to the disty on the right side of the head.

          Should be able to start on that wiring tonight, been waiting on harness parts for the 4 wire TPS on this new manifold so i can integrate everything together.

            use a dohnut pipe end (looks like a wierd mushroom) it's WAY more efficient than a 90* bend and does the same thing in a smaller space.
            Trees aren't kind to me...

              only problem is ive only got about 2" of height it can be. ill look into this mushroom doughnut thing. unless there really is a good way to reclock a VJ20 while keeping the internal wastegate parts all aligned? perhaps some washers off the non-lifted face portions to bring the actuator back into the correct position?
